I waived Kulemin during the season or whenever it was. I don't think that makes him an RFA depite the fact i like the potential of having the pick(s) if he is bid on.

fair man, if you waved him then he is not on your roster... Thanks for pointing it out!

Teams can post threads for their RFAs. If not, I will be doing it over the next couple of days. These threads will be used for bidding and offers for players not bod on.

If you bid on an RFA and the team matches, can you try to sign the same player a 2nd time?

the bidding goes till the player is won... just like UFA bidding... then the team who owns the rights gets the chance to match... whether they match or not the bidding will have been completed and the players contract / term is done

If you win a bid, the team that owns it gets 48 hours from when you won the bid to match it. If not the player is yours. If they match, that players is off the market.
Ex
NJD Send an offer of $8,000,000 for Crosby at 4:12 pm
By 4:12 the next day, if no one ups the bid, you win.
By 4:12 three days after the original bid the team must match or let go.

I believe it is two days after the bid is won to match, so three days from the original bid.

Maybe as a way to increase the amount of RFA's that are signed, maybe we should be able to either sign two per year or allow a team to use picks for two years out? Granted, the 2nd option would hurt if a team had no picks for two years.

I would say 5 bids would be nice, because really I only won 1 bid and lost 2

I think I would prefer a few more bids, as well.
