The Wings went over the cap today...
As posted by Sens GM:
cap room as posted...23,311,667, bids of nash=7.15, stepan=3.45, doan=2.9, carlson=4.15, semin=5.4, gustavsson=525k=23,575,000
because of this the Nash bid becomes invalid and the Wings are penalized 1 million in cap space. For the remainder of the 2012-2013 season.

The Flyers went over the cap today...
As posted by Devils GM, approved by Sens GM :
Flyers, according to your cap space, you have $2,186,190 (Rangers list), You currently bid 2.95 Million on James Wisniewski thus going over your salary cap.
Because of this the Wisniewski bid becomes invalid and the Flyers are penalized 1 million in cap space for the 2012-2013 season.

The Hawks went over the cap today...
As posted by Devils GM, approved by Habs GM
Niemi has a cap hit is $4,750,000 and it was listed as $525,000
Because of this the Edler extension is now void and the Hawks are penalized 1 million in cap space for the 2013-2014 season.
