Okay seeing how everyone is anxious here we go,
A minor league player counts as a player who has played 20 NHL games or less. Every team currently has up to 8 minor league players.
If you are calling up a minor league player please do it like this.
Pittsburgh is calling up
Eric Tangradi (PIT - C) $850,000 (2011 - 2012) RFA 16 games played
On the contrary if you are sending a player down please do the same thing.
Wait for it to be approved and then process it, this is because a moderator is going to confirm how many games this player has played.
If a player gets sent down he MUST have played 20 games or less, other wise he has to stay up on the NHL team.
If a player is in the minors and goes over the 20 games he can stay down until the season ends. At which point he will have to be called up or dropped.
