I can understand the concern for hoarding. Though I wouldn't expect it for the same reasons you just mentioned.
What I would expect is the ability to aquire a goalie from someone and then maybe trade another to someone else etc. Allowing for more options, and rarely carrying 3rd goalie for more than a brief time. The roster spot would be too valuable.
Goalies would/could move flow more easily between players instead of to the FA pool.
Fine with it either way, I just find myself disinterested in trades that include goalies cause of this rule.

Well I don't like the fact I'm going to be forces to trade 1 of my goalies because I have 3. I'm looking for an offensive d-man for anyone 1 of the 3 in case someone is wondering.

I see what the Ducks and Pens are arguing. Thanks for Kipper and the 2ns by the way. I hope you don't feel cheated by that, I was honestly just trying to help you with cap and get a pick for helping with the cap situation.

Leafs I looked at your roster and only saw 2. I'm going to drop kipper (eventually) and need a backup if your looking to unload a goalie maybe we can deal.
Either way I'm ok with 2 or 3 goalies, 3 would be nice for flexibility, but I can see it being a bit of a pain as well.

Jake allen counts as a roster player now. I just haven't moved him up from the minors yet.
